Dr. Sammi Fuller
Dr. Fuller grew up in Prince George, BC, graduating from Duchess Park Secondary School. She knew from a young age she wanted to be a veterinarian, growing up with a multitude of pets in her household, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and amphibians. She decided to go to the University of Calgary after graduation, where she completed a Bachelor of Sciences in Cellular, Molecular and Microbiology with Distinction. She then went to the University of Saskatchewan, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Thinking of specializing, she decided to move to the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI to complete a Small Animal Internal Medicine and Surgery Internship. She gained valuable experience and knowledge here from a multitude of specialists, making her move back to her home-town of Prince George, to be a general small animal private practitioner much easier. She also worked at the Prince George Veterinary Hospital for 6 years, and then decided it was time to work on her own, with the support of her family and her husband's family. Dr. Fuller has two dogs of her own: Charlie, a Newfie mix and George, a Great Pyrnees Burnese Mountain dog cross. She enjoys hiking and going camping with her dogs and her husband, Wade.
